Know the options.
Approve the repair.

Repair pricing depends on the device, fault, parts option and work required. We explain the available path before you approve the repair — and if the job changes, we contact you first.

The basics

Clear before we repair.

Some faults can be quoted immediately. Others need proper diagnosis first.

$89
Standard assessmentWhen diagnosis or disassembly is required. If you proceed with the approved repair, the standard assessment is credited toward it.
$89
Liquid-damage assessmentNon-refundable. Includes disassembly, cleaning and basic soldering; further parts or work are quoted separately.
12mo
Parts warrantyRepair parts are covered for 12 months, subject to our warranty terms and Australian Consumer Law.
How pricing works

No one-size-fits-all repair price.

The same symptom can have different causes, and different models use different parts. We price the repair that is actually in front of us.

Simple fault? Quote it.

When the fault is obvious and the required repair is clear, we can often quote it without a paid diagnostic assessment.

Unknown fault? Diagnose it.

If we need to open, test or fault-find the device to determine what's wrong, the standard assessment fee is $89.

Something changes? We call.

If diagnosis uncovers additional work or parts beyond what you've approved, we contact you before proceeding.

Screen & parts options

Different devices need different choices.

Where multiple screen grades are available, we'll explain the suitable options for your model. Availability varies by device and current supply.

Value

Value LCD

A practical aftermarket 720p LCD option for supported models.

Designed for customers looking for a straightforward, lower-cost repair option where supported.
Premium

Premium LCD

A higher-resolution 1080p aftermarket LCD option where available.

A step up from our Value LCD option on supported devices.
Soft OLED

Aftermarket OLED

A 1:1 soft OLED option for supported models where available.

For devices and customers where OLED display technology is the preferred aftermarket option.
OEM

OEM option

Apple refurbished or Apple service-pack display, depending on model and supply.

OEM availability and exact part source vary. We'll tell you what is available for your device before repair.
Not every device has all four options. The available parts depend on the model, repair type and current supply. We'll explain the choices that actually apply to your device.
Assessment & approval

Diagnosis isn't an open cheque.

An assessment gives us permission to diagnose the fault — not to carry out whatever repair we find. You stay in control of additional work.

01
We assess the device

Obvious faults may be quoted directly. More complex or uncertain faults may require the $89 standard assessment.

02
We explain what we've found

Where further repair is required, we'll explain the proposed work and any additional cost.

03
You approve the repair

We proceed with the agreed work. If you proceed after a paid standard assessment, that $89 is credited toward the approved repair.

04
If it changes, we contact you

We don't add unapproved repair work because a device is already on the bench.

Warranty & damage

What the parts warranty means.

Our 12-month parts warranty covers the replacement repair part subject to the applicable terms. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

Covered repair parts

If a replacement part supplied as part of our repair develops a covered defect during the warranty period, we'll assess it under our warranty terms.

New damage is different

Subsequent physical damage, liquid damage, or secondary faults arising from the device's original damage are not treated as a defect in the replacement part.

Pricing FAQ

Before we get started.

Common questions about quotes, assessments and repair options.

Do I always pay $89?

No. Obvious, straightforward faults can often be quoted without a paid assessment. The fee applies when diagnosis or disassembly is required.

What if I don't proceed?

If a standard paid assessment has been completed and you choose not to proceed with the repair, the $89 assessment remains payable.

Why is liquid damage different?

Liquid-damage assessment involves disassembly, cleaning and basic soldering work. Its $89 fee is non-refundable even if the device cannot be economically repaired.

Can the quote change?

It can if diagnosis reveals additional faults or parts, but we contact you before carrying out work beyond what you've approved.
